This project includes two 220kV booster stations, with a total capacity of 900MW—300MW connected onshore and 600MW to Lúcí Island. To address high salt mist corrosion and voltage fluctuations in submarine cables, the project employs two 35kV/31Mvar (island) and one 50Mvar (onshore) SVG units for compensation.
The SVG system is installed indoors, with outdoor water-air heat exchangers. The water-cooling system uses 316 stainless steel and C5 anti-corrosion standards. Since commissioning, the equipment has operated reliably, ensuring offshore wind power quality.
