      The micro-grid based on renewable energy is booming now. However, we have been facing more and more challenges
      • Uncontrollable and intermittent of solar and wind power

      As an effective means for operation of distributed generation equipment, micro-grid can make full use of various renewable
      energies. It is suitable for power supply of commercial community, industrial park, especially isolated island and rural area far from power grid.
      SIFANG micro-grid automation and energy management system provide a complete power automation solution. It is able to  monitor, control, protect, manage and optimize the operation of micro-grid to ensure the stability, reliability and economics of power supply.
      It includes local controllers of wind power, photovoltaic, energy storage system and gas or diesel generation, central
      control systems and complete protection IEDs.
      SIFANG micro-grid monitoring and energy management system is divided into three levels according to its functions:
      • Field level, distributed controllers for various distributed energy (wind, photovoltaic and storage etc.) interface to corresponding power electronics to real-time monitor and control micro-grid electrical devices.
      • Protection level, complete micro-grid oriented protection and control scheme under grid-connected and isolated network modes.
